It's been quiet a exciting journey transitioning my beauty career into a PMU business!
As a passionate PMU artist, my mission is to enhance your natural beauty, creating personalized looks that reflect your unique style and empower you to feel confident in your own skin.

The motivation to start BROW DIRECTION stemmed from a deep-seated passion for the transformative artistry of permanent makeup. Throughout my career in the beauty industry, I witnessed the profound impact that well-executed PMU procedures had on individuals, boosting their confidence and simplifying their daily routines. I was inspired by the idea of offering a space where clients could enhance their natural beauty with precision and care.

What distinguishes my approach is the emphasis on understanding each client's unique features, preferences, and lifestyle. Being a good listener is a key to success. I believe that permanent makeup is not a one-size-fits-all solution, and my expertise lies in tailoring every procedure to enhance individual beauty seamlessly.

Before and After care for PMU

BEFORE CARE

Avoid Blood Thinners:

Refrain from consuming blood-thinning substances, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and certain vitamins (like Vitamin E), at least 24-48 hours before the procedure.

Limit Caffeine Intake:

Reduce caffeine consumption on the day of the procedure, as it may contribute to increased sensitivity.

Avoid Alcohol:

Refrain from consuming alcohol 24 hours before the PMU session, as it can affect blood flow and increase the risk of bleeding.

No Sun Exposure or Tanning:

Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least two weeks before the procedure to prevent skin irritation.

Stop Retinol Products:

Discontinue the use of retinol or Vitamin A-based skincare products for at least one week before the PMU session.

Avoid Waxing or Laser Hair Removal:

Refrain from waxing or undergoing laser hair removal in the treatment area at least one week before the procedure.

Do Not Take Blood-Thinning Medications:

If you are on prescription blood-thinning medications, consult with your healthcare provider regarding their temporary discontinuation before the PMU session.

Communicate Health Conditions:

Inform the PMU artist of any existing health conditions, allergies, or medications you are taking.

AFTER CARE

Keep the Area Clean:

Gently clean the treated area with a mild, non-alcoholic cleanser suggested by the PMU artist. Use a clean cotton pad or swab.

Apply Recommended Ointment:

Apply the prescribed ointment as instructed by the PMU artist to keep the area moisturized and aid in the healing process.

Avoid Water Exposure:

Avoid exposing the treated area to water for the first few days, including swimming, saunas, and hot tubs.

No Sun Exposure:

Avoid direct sun exposure to the treated area and use sunblock if necessary to prevent pigment fading.

Avoid Makeup and Skincare Products:

Refrain from applying makeup or skincare products directly on the treated area until it has fully healed.

Avoid Picking or Scratching:

Resist the urge to pick, scratch, or peel the treated area, as this can interfere with the healing process and affect the final results.

Avoid Blood-Thinning Substances:

Steer clear of blood-thinning substances, such as aspirin or certain vitamins, during the initial healing period.

Follow Up for Touch-Up:

Schedule and attend any recommended touch-up sessions as advised by the PMU artist to perfect and enhance the results.

Moisturize Regularly:

After the initial healing period, keep the treated area moisturized to maintain the longevity of the pigment.

 FAQs

  • A $30 non refundable deposit is required upon booking. The non refundable deposit will goes towards the final balance. Cancellation/reschedule shall be arranged; however, it has to be at least 24 hrs advance notice. No show may result in full amount of service charge.

  • Please contact us as soon as possible. 15 min. Late arrival may result in a cancellation or you will be asked to reschedule. Booking is exclusively one client per time, please respect our time and others.

  • We accept cash, credit card and Venmo.

  • Yes, we do. There is FREE parking available in front of salon. Please park in any open spots at your convenience.

  • You must be at lest 18 years old to receive service at Brow direction.

  • As a precaution, I won't perform service.

  • The pain scale varies by individuals. We use numbing agents to avoid discomfort and to minimize discomfort. Most of our clients report they feel nothing or a little scratch on surface of the skin.

  • It's usually takes about 2-2.5 hrs. Touch up is about 1.5hrs. We recommend you take ample time to book your appointment.

  • It normally last 2-3 years. To keep your brows look fresh, annual color refreshment is recommended.
